Senior Night

Kayla Yoshino is the daughter of Rich and Lisa Yoshino.  Her brothers are Branden, a sophomore at Southview and Jared, an Arbor Hills 7th grader.  She began playing volleyball as a 5th grader through Sylvania Recreation then for Arbor Hills in 7th and 8th grades.  At Southview she has played 2 years JV and 2 years varsity.  For five years she also played JO volleyball.  At Southview Kayla is a member of the National Honor Society and has also participated in the Art Club, Interact, and Spanish Club and served as an office aid.  Kayla is very involved with her church and the church youth group.  She loves to scrapbook, watch movies, and hang out with friends in her free time.  She plans to attend college in the fall, but is undecided on which one.  She is interested in studying interior or graphic design, and playing volleyball for fun! 

Taylor Braun is the daughter of Marcy Braun.  She has a sister, Brittany.  Taylor has played varsity volleyball for four years and club volleyball for 5 years.  Taylor has been busy during her time at Southview including Interact for 4 years, French Club for 4 years, Drama Club for one year and Cougar Review for 1 year.  In addition to volleyball and school clubs, Taylor competed for the swim team for one year and the diving team for all four years.  Taylor plans to attend Boston College, Boston University, or George Washington University and major in International Relations. 

Jill Spino is the daughter of Butch and Sue Spino.  She is a sister to Aaron (33), Ryan (30) and Shannon (27).  Jill has played volleyball all four years at Southview and has been a varsity player for two years.  Jill was the most improved player her sophomore year!  At Southview Jill has been a member of the French club for 4 years, Interact for 3 years, and Cougar Review for 1 year.  Jill has been on the yearbook staff for 2 years and is currently an editor.  Jill plans to attend Central Michigan, Kent State or Ohio University in the fall and study marine biology.   Jill is looking forward to playing volleyball at some level in college.

Kayla Bell is the daughter of Mary Bell and brother to Shane.  Kayla  has played volleyball all four years at Southview and has been a varsity player  for two years.  Kayla has also played club volleyball for many years and was on the 16-1 and 17-2 teams at Glass City Volleyball Club.  Kayla has been involved with the Southview Interact Club for four years.  Kayla also played Cougar softball for two years.  Kayla has a 3.5 gpa and plans to attend either Lourdes College or Owens Community College to study education.
